When you drag and drop a texture onto a model in Element, a lot is going on that VideoCopilot has already done the work for. That means all the set up work on the models has been done already. However, Element 3D is designed to be as easy as possible. You can’t create models from scratch in Element 3D. ![]() (In fact, Blender can do a lot of what After Effects in general can do.) Element 3D was designed to bring a very small amount of the functionality of a 3d program into After Effects. Blender can do far, far more than Element 3D can.
